New fun pics and videos!

Trying to stay awake while eating his waffle. He was SO sleepy!

On another day, he totally fell asleep in his highchair!

Later that same day, being silly during dinner with Daddy.

The first of many funny hat pictures we took. Our little Shriner! Haha! It's actually Caleb's Halloween pail from Katrina upside down.

Hmmm...I wonder who set this shot up above? Daddy's hat and Daddy's doing! :)

Another one of Daddy's hats...clearly too big!

This is the picture that started all of the silly hat picture taking. We were trying on winter hats to get ready for the season, and this one obviously didn't fit him!

Finally here are some fun videos of Caleb as he continues to learn how to walk. He now motors on his own with his walker, and the last video is of him walking with Daddy (where part of it is of Jason only holding on with one hand). He's getting closer and closer to taking those first steps without support! We'll be sure to keep you all updated with his progress!

Last pictures from the trip!

As promised, here are some of the professional shots that were taken when we were in York, as well as a few cute ones of Matt and Melissa.  Enjoy!

Unfortunately I couldn't get my favorite one of Caleb with Grammy and Pops (one where he has a HUGE smile) to rotate, so I didn't post it.  This one above is also sweet though!

Hanging at Matt's house during Caleb's snack time.

Being super cute with Melissa.

Are these not the cutest pictures of Caleb and Uncle Matt too? :)

Back Home

Since Caleb and I have been back home, we have really just enjoyed being back together as a family. Playtime around here has been abundant! Here are some cute pics and videos since we have been back.

Being silly with Mommy and Daddy above.

Looking like a toddler already!

We could listen to him laugh like this all day. Just to explain because it is hard to hear, we were reading as a family, and when Jason closed the book and I said, "The End", Caleb totally cracked up. So this video is of us doing it over and over to make him laugh more and more!

Finally, here is Caleb's newest thing...high five-ing!

The Trip to PA

I just got back from PA on Monday after spending almost a week there visiting family and friends and attending an 80th birthday party and a wedding. It was a busy week! Jason was not able to go because he is taking a weekend preaching class that meets once a month, and it was unfortunately this past weekend for the month of September. Caleb and I had a great trip though, and we took a TON of pictures! Here are some of the highlights of the trip:

On Thursday, I met up with some of my friends from college for lunch. It was really neat that our babies got to meet for the first time!

Here's Kim with Caleb above (Caleb...who you all know from reading this blog is going through his "stranger danger" phase...totally loved being with Kim and didn't cry at all when he was with her)!

This is Abigail, Carolyn and Nick's daughter.

Here is Charlotte, Jamie and Brian's daughter.

And finally, this is Jonathen, Jamie and Matt's new son (he is only 2 months old!) What a cutie!

After lunch, we went to the playground area and just let the kiddos play. We had a great time!

Back at the Debes house, we hung out on Thursday evening, and on Friday morning, Grammy and Pops treated Caleb to some professional pictures. I haven't had a chance to go through the picture CD we got with it, but I will post some of the cute ones of that photo shoot soon. Friday night we went to Chili's and after, Grammy and Pops played with Caleb before bathtime.

Then it was bathtime!

And finally, a few pictures before bed in Caleb's PSU sleeper.

He says, "I'm not ready for bed yet guys!" :)

Then on Saturday we had a surprise party for Flossie (above) who turns 80 this year! A bunch of the family got together at Red Lobster to celebrate her. Here she is blowing out the candles.

So we were at the party like 2 seconds before we could resist taking pictures of all of the cousins together (this was the first time Caleb met Courtney and Katrina). This picture of Courtney with Caleb is my absolute favorite from the trip. They are SO precious together!

And here is Katrina being such a big girl holding Caleb. She did a great job and was very focused on the task :) In the picture are also John and Alexandra, my cousins (Katrina's Mom and Dad).

I love this picture too, Katrina and Caleb holding hands and Courtney peeking through in the background.

My grandmother was also at the party and it was great that she got to spend some time with Caleb. Here is Nana above, holding Caleb, and below, playing with him while waiting for lunch to arrive.

We did a Dad/Kid picture, but since Jason wasn't there, my cousin Andy was our stand-in! (That's Tom with Courtney on the left and John and Katrina on the right).

Usually at family parties, more of the cousins are able to make it, but at this party, there were only 4 of us. Of course we still took a photo though! (Sue Ann, John, Andy and Val) And all of the Aunts and Uncles on the Debes side were there, yet we (or at least I) didn't get to take many pics of them, which is why you don't see them on the blog. I guess the focus was on the kids this time around!

Later that night, we were back home watching the Penn State football game. I think it's funny now looking at the pictures, I should have put Caleb in the PSU sleeper during the game night. Here he is sporting the Boston Red Sox...I guess he doesn't know any better, so it doesn't matter, but it still is funny. I look at this picture and I think, "Wrong sport kid!"

Then on Sunday I headed to my friend Rebecca's wedding. She and her husband Tom got married on a very wet Sunday afternoon in Avondale, PA. Grammy and Pops babysat Caleb through the ceremony, and then dropped him off with me for the reception. Here are some of our friends from college that we saw there:

Rick and Kim (that is the same Kim from the hangout above)

Mike and Serah with their daughter Josie (Josie was born about 2 weeks earlier than Caleb and we were so glad the kids finally got to meet)!

Caleb getting to know his new friend! :)

Sarah and Mike (newly married as of this March!)

Finally, one last shot with Rebecca and Serah before heading to Uncle Matt's for the night. Rebecca looked SO beautiful! There are some super cute pictures we took at Matt's house with Caleb and Matt and Melissa, so as soon as I get those, I will totally get those posted (along with the professional ones too)! And then on Monday morning we left Matt's place to head back to Salem. It was a wonderful trip! We were glad to see Daddy Monday night though...we had missed him so much!
