On Thursday, I met up with some of my friends from college for lunch. It was really neat that our babies got to meet for the first time!
Here's Kim with Caleb above (Caleb...who you all know from reading this blog is going through his "stranger danger" phase...totally loved being with Kim and didn't cry at all when he was with her)!
Back at the Debes house, we hung out on Thursday evening, and on Friday morning, Grammy and Pops treated Caleb to some professional pictures. I haven't had a chance to go through the picture CD we got with it, but I will post some of the cute ones of that photo shoot soon. Friday night we went to Chili's and after, Grammy and Pops played with Caleb before bathtime.
Then it was bathtime!
And finally, a few pictures before bed in Caleb's PSU sleeper.
Then on Saturday we had a surprise party for Flossie (above) who turns 80 this year! A bunch of the family got together at Red Lobster to celebrate her. Here she is blowing out the candles.
So we were at the party like 2 seconds before we could resist taking pictures of all of the cousins together (this was the first time Caleb met Courtney and Katrina). This picture of Courtney with Caleb is my absolute favorite from the trip. They are SO precious together!
And here is Katrina being such a big girl holding Caleb. She did a great job and was very focused on the task :) In the picture are also John and Alexandra, my cousins (Katrina's Mom and Dad).
I love this picture too, Katrina and Caleb holding hands and Courtney peeking through in the background.
My grandmother was also at the party and it was great that she got to spend some time with Caleb. Here is Nana above, holding Caleb, and below, playing with him while waiting for lunch to arrive.
We did a Dad/Kid picture, but since Jason wasn't there, my cousin Andy was our stand-in! (That's Tom with Courtney on the left and John and Katrina on the right).
Usually at family parties, more of the cousins are able to make it, but at this party, there were only 4 of us. Of course we still took a photo though! (Sue Ann, John, Andy and Val) And all of the Aunts and Uncles on the Debes side were there, yet we (or at least I) didn't get to take many pics of them, which is why you don't see them on the blog. I guess the focus was on the kids this time around!
Later that night, we were back home watching the Penn State football game. I think it's funny now looking at the pictures, I should have put Caleb in the PSU sleeper during the game night. Here he is sporting the Boston Red Sox...I guess he doesn't know any better, so it doesn't matter, but it still is funny. I look at this picture and I think, "Wrong sport kid!"
Then on Sunday I headed to my friend Rebecca's wedding. She and her husband Tom got married on a very wet Sunday afternoon in Avondale, PA. Grammy and Pops babysat Caleb through the ceremony, and then dropped him off with me for the reception. Here are some of our friends from college that we saw there:
Mike and Serah with their daughter Josie (Josie was born about 2 weeks earlier than Caleb and we were so glad the kids finally got to meet)!
Finally, one last shot with Rebecca and Serah before heading to Uncle Matt's for the night. Rebecca looked SO beautiful! There are some super cute pictures we took at Matt's house with Caleb and Matt and Melissa, so as soon as I get those, I will totally get those posted (along with the professional ones too)! And then on Monday morning we left Matt's place to head back to Salem. It was a wonderful trip! We were glad to see Daddy Monday night though...we had missed him so much!

I'm still laughing at the implications of that dad/kid picture :)
Valerie - it was great seeing you and meeting Caleb. He's a cutie! Hopefully we'll cross paths again soon.
Wow- hadn't even heard that Jamie Bricker had a kid...glad you had fun in PA!
